External Coating

Extensive costs are spent annually in the world to maintain metal structures and preserving them against corrosion. One of these cases include oil, gas, and water transfer pipes. The most certain and the cheapest way to protect pipes is preventing permeation of corrosive elements such as humidity, O2, and other corrosive factors, and this can be done by applying impermeable coatings against those factors.

Importance of the external coatings of pipes

The process of pipe coating includes the result of preparing activities, infrastructures, controlling the pipes conditions before insulation (such as temperature, roughness, rate of cleanness, rate of surface saline pollutions, etc.) and finally the insulation of the pipe. Performing the proper coating is a complicated process with regards to the conditions of the project location, and the texture of the earth in the region and the conditions of the fluid inside the pipeline are among the important determining factors for the type of the coating.
